- 2003: Alisan Porter has formed a band! They are called The Raz and they play all over the Los Angeles area. Alisan is the vocalist and songwriter. The band is currently working on their first album.
According to the band's website:
She is writing the music she truly feels and wants to perform. Alisan truly believes that this is her calling and hopes The Raz follows in the footsteps of the greatest bands to date.

- In June 2001, Alisan played Crissy in a Los Angeles stage production of the musical "Hair".
The LA Daily News Online said:
Anthems like "I Got Life," "Colored Spade," "Hippie Life" and "Ain't Got No" are mixed in with non-sequitur songs like "Frank Mills" (sung by a show-stopping Alisan Porter).
Playbill Online also had an article about the production. Neither web site still has the old articles archived, so I've archived both complete articles here: The L.A. Daily News Online Article | The Playbill Online Article.

- Some time around November or December, 1999, Alisan Porter signed her first Broadway contract -- becoming an understudy in the Broadway musical Footloose (which has since closed). I don't know how long she was with the show, or when it closed.
